As a leader in the development and manufacture of biopharmaceuticals, Lonza is committed to an ongoing technology development program to improve our current mammalian cell culture service for recombinant protein production and to add new services to our portfolio.
Our broad remit necessitates our involvement in house research, academic collaborations and commercial collaborations and includes the in licensing of novel technologies. Our collaborative partners are recognised global leaders.
The Technology Development Team
Technology development projects make full use of the experience and skill of Lonza’s development staff who have intimate knowledge of the biopharmaceutical development process gained over many years and on many different products. Project teams can be formed that encompass all the skills that are required to achieve a successful outcome.
In addition, a new product development group is focused on bringing in technologies and services to add to our portfolio. The results of these efforts will culminate in state-of-the-art services that can be applied to the development of the next generation of biopharmaceuticals with improved characteristics for both therapeutic efficacy and manufacturability.
